Why switch from long-term to short-term rental?
  • Maximum Flexibility: Use your property for yourself whenever you wish.
  • Higher ROI: Capitalize on peak season rates and premium pricing.
  • Property Preservation: Frequent maintenance means that issues are caught and fixed immediately, rather than long-term wear and tear.
  • Value-Added Services: Opportunities for upselling and premium guest experiences.
Why choose RENTme Cyprus?

Our personal experience in the Cyprus rental market has taught us exactly what owners need and what guests expect. We combine local "boots on the ground" expertise with professional marketing to ensure you feel safe and your guests feel at home.

How does RENTme secure my income?

We don’t just "list" your home; we campaign for it. Your property is synchronized across all major global platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Our team performs daily market reviews to adjust your rates dynamically, ensuring you get the highest possible occupancy at the best possible price.

How and when do I get paid?

We believe in total transparency. Here is a clear example of our all-inclusive model:

Let’s say a reservation brings in €1,000 (after platform fees):

  1. We deduct the 9% VAT.
  2. RENTme takes a 30% commission from the remainder.
  3. You receive €642—completely hands-off.

Our commission covers professional cleaning, linen laundry, restocking consumables, welcome gifts (wine & fruit), and routine maintenance. No hidden costs!

How do I get started?

Getting started is as easy as a quick meeting:

  1. Call or email us with your property location and a few photos.
  2. We’ll meet at your property to discuss its potential and give you an honest evaluation.
  3. Once we agree on the strategy, we handle the rest.
Do I really need a Deputy Ministry of Tourism registration?

Yes. To keep the Cyprus tourism industry high-quality and legal, the government requires all self-catering accommodations to have a registration number.

Most major platforms (like Airbnb) will not allow you to list without it. We highly recommend being 100% legal for your own peace of mind and tax compliance.

What is the cost and process for registration?

The government fee is €222 (valid for 3 years). To apply, you generally need:

  1. A Building or Town Planning Permit.
  2. A recent EAC (Electricity) bill for the property.
  3. A copy of your ID or Passport.
  4. Valid insurance coverage (Fire and Public Liability).
  5. An owner authorization form (if we are operating it for you).

Not a fan of paperwork? We can handle the entire registration process for you for a small administration fee of €30.
